Register to attend Citizen Science Virtual Presentation
Citizen Science: Discovering Biodiversity at Birds Hill Park is designed to connect science teachers, parents/grandparents, community group leaders, nature photographers and others who are interested in assisting youth to explore our natural surroundings and have some fun while making meaningful contributions to scientific research. There’s so many good things about this… you can become a citizen scientist, encourage youth participation, and help maintain the ecological health of Birds Hill Park! On Tuesday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m, Ashleigh Westphal M.Sc. | Ecological Restoration | will present, answer your questions, and workshop specific scenarios to support your involvement.
To learn more and to REGISTER, go to eventbrite.ca/e/citizen-science-discovering-biodiversity-at-birds-hill-park-tickets-248772714887 or call Helene at 204-771-1270.
Everyone is welcome to add to our understanding and stewardship of the biodiversity within Birds Hill Park so feel free to share the word. You can forward this email or put up the attached poster in your workplace or your community. Or, hey, post it on your favourite social media.
